Heir 's Duty

Maeda clan's warrior

Swordstore now offers Japanese art in both antique and high quality limited reproductions. We also have the ability to produce any size (within ratio) reprint that you desire whether your intention is to place in a frame, use as a banner or decorate an entire wall space – we can do it! About this scroll: This scroll was commissioned for a 1st son’s (Inuchiyo) first battle. It is unlikely that he would’ve been allowed anywhere near a battle but the number of heads taken is meant to exaggerate his prowess and as of yet untested courage. Original with kantei (documentation) available.

Hi Rick! I just received the package and I have to say, the sword looks great. I think we're all good here. Thank you so much, this has been a learning experience and the next time I purchase, it will certainly be from swordstore. I might require less hand holding then, as well! Have a great week sir. With Deep Gratitude, Eric

Rick, I can’t thank you enough for this beautiful sword. I am absolutely blown away by how phenomenal it feels to cut with this, and the attention to detail, the extra touches...I can’t thank you enough. I am definitely going to send students over to you when it is time for them to get real steel for practice. Thanks again, and I wish you the best in 2018!

Hello Polland Sensei, I have been practicing with my new sword for several weeks now, and I am delighted. Practice feels more purposeful knowing that the weapon is correct;y sized and will teach me properly. As to its appearance, all I can say is that it's absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for all of the guidance that you provided, as well as for the black same and what XXX Sensei believes to be upgraded fittings around the tsuba. I look forward to developing with it! All the best, Brian

Rick, Just wanted to let you know that I'll be recommending your equipment to my students (as I've been doing for years, but your wood weapons are too sweet for words). The quality is undeniable and the feel is really nice. Add the history onto that and we have a winner! Ed

Comment: Yuri and Rick, The bokkuto and jo are beautiful! The bokkuto is even crowned on top for hikiotoshi and no finish on them. Outstanding. Thank you for the extra tsuba. I appreciate it! Ed

Hi Rick. I received the iaito last morning. It took quite some time in customs office. I love the sword. It looks great and felt good in training as well. :D I’m really happy about it. Also, thank you for the oil and the sword bag. Have a nice day. Best regards Jinook

Rick, I hope all is going well with the new family addition! I got back to XX this weekend and finally got to take a look at the sword. VERY nice- your guess on the sageo is spot on, the mid blue offsets the black very nicely. I also appreciate the beautiful sword bag, it’s my wife’s favorite part. While I do wonder what the sword would have looked like with the red/brown ito and the wine sageo, I am very pleased with what we ended up with. The overall length on this thing is amazing. Thank you again for all your help and patience with this order, and I hope to do business with you in the future! Sincerely, Michael

Hello Rick, I just want to send an email and thank you for the wonderful iaito and nice gifts. After meticulously opening the package, I immediately took it outside and I spent over an hour practicing strikes. I absolutely love the look, balance and feel of the iaito. Thank you so much for your wonderful service, advice, and support. I can tell this is going to help my Kendo and Iaito great deal. Thank you, Kevin
